Chennai: The Gujarat IT/ITeS Roadshow, held at Hilton Chennai, showcased the state's 2022-2027 IT/ITeS Policy, positioning Gujarat as a prime destination for innovation and technology-led growth.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. GSK Velu and Mr. Bhupesh Nagarajan, who emphasized Gujarat's pivotal role in India's economic and technological progress.

Shri Tushar Bhatt, IAS, presented the state's robust IT/ITeS infrastructure and governance, while Smt. Mona K. Khandhar, IAS, detailed the policy's strategic incentives, including CAPEX and OPEX support for infrastructure development and employment generation.

Gujarat's focus on emerging technologies, such as AI, Blockchain, and Quantum Computing, was highlighted with plans for a Deep Tech Centre of Excellence.

The roadshow also emphasized Gujarat's investor-friendly environment, featuring collaboration with global tech leaders like IBM, Microsoft, and AWS.

The event concluded with a discussion on investment opportunities, reinforcing Gujarat's position as a leading IT and ITeS investment hub.
