Lucknow: Indian Institute of Management Lucknow recently concluded its flagship alumni conclave, Samvaad 2024, themed 'Shaping India's Growth Story.'

The event featured notable alumni, industry experts, and thought leaders discussing India's evolving global role.

Prof. Archana Shukla, Director-in-charge of IIM Lucknow, opened the conclave, highlighting India's progress towards becoming a global economic powerhouse and IIM Lucknow's role in nurturing future leaders. Keynote speaker Mr. Kamlesh Varshney of SEBI emphasized aligning personal and professional goals for national growth.

Celebrating India's 78 years of independence, discussions focused on India's significant strides, with projections indicating one-fifth of the world's working-age population will be Indian by 2025, and over 850 million internet users by 2030. The conclave featured four panels:

Strategy and Governance: Moderated by Ms. Akrati Solanki, with Mr. Kamlesh Varshney and other experts discussing economic strategy.

Finance and Governance: Led by Mr. Dhruvin Chheda, featuring industry leaders on finance and governance.

Entrepreneurship: Moderated by Mr. Abhishek Singh, with entrepreneurs sharing insights on building successful businesses.

Marketing Trends: Led by Mr. Mousom Datta, focusing on marketing strategies and trends.

Samvaad 2024 underscored India's role as a growth engine, contributing 16% to global growth in 2023, and affirmed its position as a hub for innovation and technology.
