Coimbatore: Marks do not solely determine one's life path, there is always a way to succeed even if you fail, asserted Senior Psychiatrist Srinivasan.
Exams have evolved into a source of dread among students today.
The pressures from parents and relatives, exemplified by statements like, "You must excel in your studies to secure a prosperous future like others," instill stress in students.
Consequently, those facing similar situations often experience depression and make regrettable decisions even with moderate exam scores.
In a poignant reminder, Senior Psychiatrist Srinivasan emphasized that life transcends exam results. He stated, "Life encompasses more than just academic achievements. Every setback conceals an opportunity for triumph. It's imperative to recognize that life extends beyond mere grades. Parents should stand by their children, offering unwavering support. Low marks should not be dismissed lightly.
"Efforts have been exerted, and outcomes reflect those efforts. Students should cultivate the mindset to embrace whatever comes their way. There's no need to dwell on failures but instead focus on devising a plan for the future. Failure today presents an immediate chance for growth and mastery.
"Similarly, in life, one must prepare for the unexpected. Not everything unfolds as anticipated. Therefore, readiness to confront any situation is crucial", he concluded.
