Madurai: Meenakshi Mission Super Specialty Hospital in Madurai is advancing its global outreach in research and medical education by exploring a partnership with New Zealand's Auckland University of Technology (AUT).

A high-level meeting was convened between Dr. Gurushankar, President of Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Center, Kamini Gurushankar, and representatives from AUT, including Professors Fred Cowan, John Dewar, and Sonal Dholakia. Australian consultant Dev Dutta also participated in the discussions.

The delegation visited key institutions, including Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Thanjavur Meenakshi Hospital, and Meenakshi Nursing College. They engaged with hospital management and staff to explore opportunities in health education, innovative research, and technology integration.

Dr. Gurushankar emphasized the hospital's commitment to delivering world-class healthcare and medical education. He highlighted that the collaboration with AUT aims to foster knowledge exchange, drive research innovation, and provide advanced training for students, faculty, and healthcare professionals.

This partnership marks a significant step in bridging expertise and resources to elevate healthcare and medical education standards globally.
