New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the NEET-UG 2025 examination will be held on May 4, with the application deadline set for March 7.

The exam is mandatory for admission to undergraduate medical courses across India.

NEET-UG, conducted under the Union Ministry of Education, is the gateway for courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS, BVSc, and BSc Nursing in medical institutions, including AIIMS and JIPMER.

Exam Details
The exam will feature 180 multiple-choice questions, with 45 each from Physics and Chemistry, and 90 from Biology (Botany and Zoology). The test carries a total of 720 marks, with four marks awarded for each correct answer and one mark deducted for every incorrect response.

The question paper will be available in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Odia, Assamese, Urdu, and Punjabi.
