Chennai: In a speech at Loyola College, Chief Minister Stalin highlighted that new barriers to education are beginning to arise.

Speaking at the college's centennial celebration, he emphasized the enduring value of education.

"Education is an indelible wealth," Stalin stated.

"In the past, it wasn't accessible to everyone. Education is crucial as it breaks down inhibitions and clarifies one's thinking. Loyola College has been instrumental in making education accessible to all."

He noted that the state government's goal is to provide quality education to everyone, emphasizing that Tamil Nadu is home to many of India's top educational institutions. He described the present as the "golden age of higher education and research."

However, Stalin expressed concern over emerging obstacles. He mentioned that new discourses are beginning to downplay the importance of education, representing a fresh challenge.

The Chief Minister concluded by reaffirming the state's commitment to overcoming these barriers and ensuring access to quality education for all.
