Chennai: More than 71,000 appointment letters were distributed across India under the Rozgar Mela Tranche-14, including 458 in Tamil Nadu.
In Avadi, Chennai, 413 candidates received their appointment letters at the CRPF center, in the presence of Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, Minister of State for Rural Development and Communication.

In Sivagangai District, a Rozgar Mela event took place at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Recruits Training Centre in Illupaikudi. Here, 45 appointees from CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, Indian Railways, and other departments were handed their appointment letters by Bhupatiraju Srinivasa Varma, Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the events via video, congratulating the appointees and stressing the government's commitment to employment generation. He highlighted the importance of empowering youth to contribute to the country's development.
