Chennai: The 7th Paperex South India, a regional extension of the world-renowned PAPEREX, is scheduled from December 5-7, 2024, at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam. Organized by Hyve India Pvt. Ltd. in association with the Indian Agro & Recycled Paper Mill Association (IARPMA), the event will highlight advancements in the pulp, paper, and allied industries.

With participation from over 200 Indian and global companies, the exhibition will display cutting-edge machinery, sustainable technologies, and innovative solutions across sectors such as paper production, packaging, printing, and processing. It is expected to attract 8,000 visitors, including business leaders, manufacturers, investors, and policymakers.

The Indian paper industry, valued at $11.48 billion in 2021, is projected to grow to $31.41 billion by 2029, driven by increased literacy, e-commerce, and eco-conscious packaging solutions. Significant investments, exceeding ₹50,000 crore, are anticipated over the next decade, boosting the demand for advanced technology and skilled manpower.

The event also features a two-day seminar on printing and packaging industries and a CEO conclave, creating vital networking opportunities.
