Chennai: The Egmore Museum in Chennai is hosting a unique photo exhibition showcasing the creativity of young photographers under the age of 18 from across the globe.

Organized by the Chennai Photo Biennale, the exhibition features over 200 captivating photographs. Among the highlights are stunning images captured by Chennai Corporation schoolgirls, earning widespread acclaim for their insightful portrayals of everyday life.

The students have skillfully documented various subjects, including women workers in matchbox factories, laborers in firecracker industries, and the lives of child workers, presenting these themes with remarkable depth and perspective.

Interestingly, most of these photographs were taken using mobile phones. The organizers expressed optimism that the budding photographers may transition to professional cameras, further honing their skills.

The exhibition is open to the public until March 16, with free entry from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, except on Fridays.
