Hosur: PMC Tech College, Hosur signed pact with Taiwan Education Center in setting up to provide Center for Foreign Language Studies.

This signifies in an important step in educational cooperation between India and Taiwan.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was formalized during the ceremony, attended by various dignitaries including Peters Chen, Director, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center.

Peters Chen highlighted the myriad opportunities available to students through this collaboration.

The MOU includes provisions for Mandarin language instruction, expanded internship opportunities, scholarships, grants, faculty and student exchanges between institutions in India and Taiwan.

The initiative aims to strengthen cultural ties and promote innovation through joint academic ventures.

Kumar, Chairman, PMC Tech Institute urged students to prioritize learning Mandarin, underscoring its importance for future employment in sectors such as electronics, automotive, and IT.
