Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations, Chennai, has announced the release of the Tamil Literary Proficiency Test results for the academic year 2024-2025.

The Tamil Literary Proficiency Test, held on October 19, 2024, saw the participation of 2,35,025 students from various schools across Tamil Nadu.

The exam aims to select 1,500 students—750 from government schools and 750 from other school types—who will receive a monthly stipend of ₹1,500 for two years through the Directorate of School Education.

The results are scheduled to be published on December 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Students who appeared for the test can check their results on the official website by entering their roll number and date of birth under the "Tamil Literary Aptitude Test Results" section.

The Directorate has confirmed that the results will exclusively be available online, ensuring easy and efficient access for all candidates.
