The Department of Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, organized a guest lecture titled “Prospects and Career Opportunities of Food Processing in Australia” on December 18, 2024.

The session featured Er. R. Mohanraj, Head of Operations, Coles Group, Melbourne, Australia, as the keynote speaker. Dr. M. Balakrishnan, Professor and Head of the department, welcomed the gathering with an introduction to Er. Mohanraj's achievements in food processing.

Dr. A. Raviraj, Dean (Engineering), delivered a special address and honored the guest.

Er. Mohanraj shared valuable insights on career-oriented learning, highlighting the importance of practical skills and cross-sectoral adaptability in food processing careers.

The event was attended by 50 participants, including M.Tech. and Ph.D. scholars, along with faculty members from the department, enriching their understanding of global career prospects.
