Chennai: The Sports Authority of India (SAI), under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, will conduct selection trials for talented athletes for the 2025-26 session in Chennai.

The trials will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and other designated venues, with athletes being inducted into various schemes based on performance.

Trial Schedule and Details:
Athletics
Age: 12 to 18 years
Category: Boys (Residential), Girls (Non-residential)
Criteria: Recognized competition medals (U-14 Novice & U-18 District)
Date & Venue: 1 February 2025, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium

Football
Age: Boys born between 2010 and 2013 (Non-residential)
Criteria: State/District participation and game/motor tests
Date & Venue: 4-5 February 2025, SDAT Nehru Park (SAI Ground)

Kabaddi
Age: Boys born between 2009 and 2011 (Residential)
Criteria: Recognized district tournament participation
Date & Venue: 7 February 2025, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium
