Chennai: Continuous rainfall triggered by a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal has led to the closure of schools in 14 districts across Tamil Nadu today (November 27).

District Collectors have announced holidays to ensure safety amid adverse weather conditions.

Mayiladuthurai
Nagapattinam
Trichy
Ramanathapuram

The heavy rains have also impacted Puducherry and Karaikal, where schools and colleges are closed for the day.
