Chennai: The Shiv Nadar School of Law, an initiative of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, was inaugurated at the Shiv Nadar University, Chennai campus.

The event featured Hon'ble Justice MM Sundresh of the Supreme Court of India as Chief Guest, alongside other dignitaries including Prof. Sriman Kumar Bhattacharyya, Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Shikhar Malhotra, Trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation.

The school offers a five-year BA.LLB program, approved by the Bar Council of India, with 45 students enrolled in its first batch.

A batch size of 120 is planned for next year, with many students benefiting from generous scholarships.

Prof. Bhattacharyya emphasized the school's global approach to legal education, while Mr. Malhotra highlighted the Foundation's commitment to fostering excellence in education.

Dean Prof. Shivprasad Swaminathan expressed confidence in shaping the next generation of legal professionals through cutting-edge research and a student-centric curriculum.
