Chennai: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), recognised by the Financial Times MiM Global Rankings as India's #1 business school, has launched its first asynchronous programme in Data Analysis under its Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), in association with Coursera.

This move is aligned with the Government of India's drive towards e-learning and digital pedagogy.

The Data Analysis MOOC will give prospective data analysts and business professionals a comprehensive understanding of handling data in a business context. Participants will gain knowledge of how to use probability, sampling techniques, predictive analysis, descriptive statistics, and other tools.

On successful completion of the course, participants will be proficient in quantitative analysis methods and recognise the significance of accurate data for credible business outcomes.

Additionally, the Data Analysis MOOC provides a pathway to SPJIMR's master's level Post Graduate Diploma in Management Online (PGDM Online) programme, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

SPJIMR is preparing to introduce various MOOCs in a range of subjects, including Brand Management, Leadership Development, Finance, Communication, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management.

These courses aim to provide participants across diverse geographies with current and essential competencies needed to upskill and succeed in a highly competitive world.
