Chennai: Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi has emphasized the importance of Sanskrit, urging students to embrace the language as a valuable resource.
Speaking at the 50th-anniversary celebration of an educational group in Mylapore, Chennai, the TN Governor highlighted the significance of Sanskrit in India's cultural heritage.
He remarked that during the colonial era, British rule and Christian missionaries had strategically attempted to stifle India's growth.

He emphasized that Sanskrit, in particular, is a rich resource that all students should endeavor to learn.
