Chennai: The School Education Department, Tamil Nadu has confirmed that the half-yearly examinations for the academic year 2024-25 will commence on December 16.

The exams are scheduled to be held from December 16 to December 23, followed by a half-year holiday starting December 24.

Classes for the third term will resume on January 2, 2025, marking the beginning of the next phase of the academic year.

This schedule aims to ensure students have adequate preparation and a well-deserved break during the holiday season.
