Chennai: The TN Young Leadership Summit & Awards 2024, organized by the FICCI Tamil Nadu Young Leaders Panel, honored 16 young business leaders for their vision, leadership, and dedication to positive change.

Held at The Leela Palace in Chennai, the event drew 250 delegates, including startup founders, industry experts, and policymakers, and featured insightful speeches and networking.

Themed “Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders, Today,” the event was inaugurated by Dr. Palanivel Thiagarajan, Tamil Nadu's IT and Digital Services Minister, who emphasized the potential of young entrepreneurs to drive growth and innovation.

He commended FICCI's efforts in fostering an ecosystem that nurtures entrepreneurial talent, stating, “This event demonstrates the power of organizations that create supportive environments where youth can bring disruptive ideas to life.”

He also underscored the need for robust middle segments in India's economy to create jobs and sustainable value.

Dr. Preethaa Ganesh, Convenor of FICCI TN Young Leaders Panel, highlighted Tamil Nadu's economic ambition to reach a $1 trillion economy by 2030, leveraging its youthful, creative workforce. Dr. GSK Velu, FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council Chairman, described the awards as a movement to inspire innovation and resilience among young leaders.

The summit featured Dr. Ishari K Ganesh, founder of Vels Group, and Dr. A. Velumani, creator of Thyrocare, who shared entrepreneurial insights, emphasizing patience, discipline, and cost control as key to sustainable business success.

The event underscored the crucial role of young leaders in shaping Tamil Nadu's economic future.
