Mumbai: Viacom18 has announced unprecedented coverage for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games' Opening Ceremony.

As the official broadcast and digital partner, Viacom18 will provide an immersive experience starting with a dedicated camera feed on the Team India boat during the Seine river parade, offering real-time reactions and footage.

The coverage will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, ensuring wide accessibility.

India's first athletics World Championship medalist, Anju Bobby George, will join Viacom18's expert lineup.

For the first time, JioCinema will stream 20 concurrent feeds for free, including 17 sports-specific and three curated feeds in 4K. These include an India feed, a Women Power feed, and a Best Global Action feed.

On linear platforms, Sports18 channels will broadcast the Games with a focus on Indian athletes. Sponsors include SBI, JSW Group, ThumsUp, and Herbalife, among others.

India's campaign starts on July 27 with the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event and features Neeraj Chopra defending his Javelin Throw title on August 6.
