Chennai: As many as 202 candidates from Shankar IAS Academy have cleared the Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the academy said on Friday.

A total of 958 candidates were declared successful in the final results announced on March 6.

According to the academy, 19 of its students secured ranks within the top 100 in the all-India list, including 10 women candidates.

Among them, Rajeswari Suve M from Tamil Nadu secured the second rank at the national level and topped the state. Another candidate, A. R. Raja Mohideen, secured the seventh rank in the country.

The academy said 60 candidates from Tamil Nadu cleared the examination this year, of whom 39 were from Shankar IAS Academy, including 17 women.

Four differently-abled candidates from the academy also cleared the examination, including Ajay R Raj, Jaseela, Kajal Raju and Sanjay S.

The civil services preliminary examination was held on May 25, 2025, followed by the mains examination in August and interviews between December 2025 and February 2026.
