Chennai: A book titled 'Thathumbum Tamil Perumitham', authored by M. K. Stalin, was released at the Secretariat on Friday.

The volume, which compiles the Chief Minister's speeches delivered at various events highlighting the antiquity, richness and unique features of the Tamil language, was released by Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu and received by the Chief Minister.

The book also features reports on initiatives undertaken to promote Tamil heritage, including museums showcasing archaeological artefacts, the renovated Valluvar Kottam and the glass bridge at Kanyakumari, accompanied by colour photographs. Government orders issued in support of Tamil development have also been included.

Speaker M. Appavu, Deputy Speaker K. Pichandi, Minister S. S. Saminathan and senior officials were present at the release function.
