Tiruppur: The two-day Dinamalar's 'Vazhikatti' programme, aimed at creating awareness on higher education opportunities, concluded here on Sunday with enthusiastic participation from students and parents.

Organised by Dinamalar in association with leading educational institutions including Sri Krishna Institutions, Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institutions, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, KMCH, Dr. N.G.P. Educational Institutions, Karpagam Institutions, Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the event drew large crowds at Vidya Karthik Mahal.

Over the course of two days, visitors engaged in seminars and exhibitions with over 70 universities and institutions, providing insights into various academic pathways and admission processes.

On the concluding day, experts delivered lectures on a range of topics.

Prof. Jayapal of SNR College, Coimbatore spoke on Arts and Science education, while Suresh Kumar from Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathi College, Madurai elaborated on opportunities in Marine Catering and Hotel Management. State Planning Commission Member Secretary Sudha addressed higher education avenues, while Defense Scientist Dilli Babu inspired students with his talk titled “You Can Also Become a Scientist.” Educational consultant Ashwin guided aspirants on excelling in NEET and JEE examinations.

Parents and students heaped praises over the information shared and clarity received, with many hopeful that the guidance will pave the way for success in their higher education journey.
