Chennai: The 23rd Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology and the 77th Annual Conference of the Indian Radiological & Imaging Association will take place at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, from January 23 to 26, 2025.

This prestigious event, themed "Clinical Radiology Decoded: See Like a Surgeon, Think Like a Physician," is set to bring together 7,000 radiologists from India and abroad.

Dr. C. Amarnath, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, stated that extensive planning has gone into the four-day conference, touted as the largest congregation of radiologists ever held in a single city. The event will feature renowned experts and thought leaders sharing insights into the rapidly evolving field of radiology.

Highlighting the scientific aspect of the conference, Dr. L. Murali Krishna, Organizing Secretary, emphasized the diverse lineup, including lectures, symposiums, interactive sessions, innovative formats such as "I-Shorts," and hands-on workshops spanning one or two days. A scientific exhibition showcasing the latest advancements in radiological technology will also be a major attraction.

Adding to the significance of the event, 22 presidents of international radiological associations will be attending, further cementing its status as a global platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The conference is expected to provide a unique opportunity for radiology professionals to enhance their skills, exchange ideas, and stay updated on cutting-edge developments in the field.
