Chennai: Continuing the trend of academic excellence, girls outperformed boys in the Tamil Nadu Class XI common examinations, results for which were declared on 16, May 2025.
The overall pass percentage stood at 92.09%.
According to official data, girls outperformed boys by a margin of 6.43%, with 95.13% of female candidates clearing the exams compared to 88.70% of male candidates.
A total of 11,025 students were absent during the examinations.
