Chennai: IIT Madras is hosting its annual Institute Open House 2024 on March 2nd and 3rd as part of the 'Anaivarukkum IITM' (IITM for all) initiative. The event invites the public to explore the campus labs and engage with cutting-edge technology. Visitors can register before February 29th at shaastra.org/register. The expo aims to democratize awareness of advanced technology and inspire future leaders. Notable exhibits include Robotics lab, Biomedical Engineering labs, Rockets and missile laboratory, Electric Vehicle Fun Event, Cardiovascular Genetics Lab, lab-grown diamonds, and 3D printing facilities. The CFI (Centre for Innovation) Open House on March 3rd showcases student projects, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. CFI hosts thirteen clubs and seven competing teams, involving over 600 students in various activities throughout the year.
