Established in the year 1978, Anna University, the Tamil Nadu government's technical university got 'NAAC' status in the year 2014. At the end of five years, a multi-phased effort was made to regain the status of the NAAC. Due to these proactive intense efforts, 10 days ago, a team of NAAC members conducted an on-campus inspection at Anna University.The NAAC team members closely monitored every action and the infrastructure facilities in the midst of Vice-Chancellor Velraj and Professors. Accordingly, NAAC awarded 'A' ++ status based on infrastructure and teaching methods. Anna University received a total of 3.54 out of four marks.
