Coimbatore: Bharathiar University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with INS Agrani, the Indian Navy's leadership training establishment, to offer diploma programmes aimed at naval officers.

The MoU was signed at a function held at INS Agrani Community College, Redfields, Coimbatore, on Wednesday. Bharathiar University Registrar (in-charge) Dr. Srinivasan and Commodore Manmohan Singh of INS Agrani formalised the partnership.

Under the agreement, the university will offer a Diploma in Leadership for naval officers and a Diploma in Management tailored for senior officers.

Vice-Chancellor Ajith Kumar Lalmohan and Commander Amit Kumar Sharma, Senior Academic Officer at INS Agrani, were also present on the occasion.
