Chennai: The IC3 Regional Conference, South Asia, will be held on January 23-24, 2026 at O.P. Jindal Global University, offering educators a first-of-its-kind residential experience designed to reconnect, reflect, and reimagine counseling in schools.
Themed “Looking Deeply - From Information to Insight,” the conference will bring together over 300 school leaders, counselors, and teachers for an immersive two-day programme featuring workshops, interactive sessions, expert panels, and well-being activities such as guided meditation and reflection circles. The initiative aims to strengthen the culture of counseling in schools and equip educators with tools to guide students with empathy, self-awareness, and purpose.
Ganesh Kohli, Founder of the IC3 Movement, said, “The real magic of learning happens when participants are fully immersed — sharing rooms, meals, conversations, and ideas. The 'Back to School' concept allows educators to connect deeply, engage meaningfully, and learn in a way that stays with them.”
Prof. Mahanta, Dean of Admissions and Outreach, O.P. Jindal Global University, highlighted that the conference provides a significant platform for collaboration, reflection, and exploration of innovative student guidance approaches. “Immersive forums like this equip educators with the knowledge and tools needed to nurture the next generation of change-makers,” he added.
The conference replaces the annual Regional Forums for 2025 and builds on the momentum of IC3's broader global network, which connects educators, counselors, and institutions across more than 90 countries. The IC3 Movement, marking its 10th anniversary this year, has impacted over 3.3 million students worldwide through professional development, career counseling initiatives, and international collaborations.
