New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday announced the final date sheet for the 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations, to be held from February 17 to March 31, 2026.

The Class 10 exams will follow the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Board said. CBSE had earlier issued a tentative schedule on September 24, 2025, 146 days before the exam, and has now finalized the timetable 110 days ahead, after schools submitted the List of Candidates (LOC).

CBSE said the schedule provides adequate gaps between major subjects and has been designed considering national-level entrance examinations, including JEE (Main). The Board has also coordinated with the National Testing Agency (NTA) to avoid date clashes.

Class 10 Core Subjects:
Feb 17: Mathematics (Standard/Basic)
Feb 21: English (Communicative/Language & Literature)
Feb 25: Science
Mar 2: Hindi (Course A/B)
Mar 7: Social Science

Class 12 Core Subjects:
Feb 20: Physics
Feb 25: Accountancy
Feb 26: Geography
Mar 9: Mathematics
Mar 12: English Core
Mar 23: Political Science
Mar 25: Computer Science
Mar 27: Biology

Examinations will begin daily at 10.30 a.m. CBSE said the evaluation process has been planned to minimize disruption in schools. The detailed timetable is available on the Board's official website — www.cbse.gov.in
