Chennai: Centre for Teacher Accreditation has partnered with L&T EduTech to launch a STEM and future technologies immersion programme for high school students across four cities, officials said on Thursday.
The first phase of the programme will benefit around 3,000 students from 100 schools in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
The 20-hour programme, structured into 10 sessions, will introduce students to design thinking, artificial intelligence, robotics and coding, while encouraging them to develop solutions to real-world problems. It will also focus on teamwork, critical thinking and workplace-oriented skills.
CENTA Founder and CEO Ramya Venkataraman said the initiative aims to help students move beyond theoretical learning and apply STEM concepts to practical challenges.
L&T EduTech Head Febin MF said the programme is designed to provide early exposure to emerging technologies and innovation-led thinking, helping students connect classroom learning with future career pathways.
CENTA will anchor teaching through its certified teacher network, while L&T EduTech will provide industry-oriented learning support.
The programme will allow flexible scheduling and conclude with student project presentations, with plans for expansion to more cities in future.
