Puducherry: The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has announced that online applications for all undergraduate courses, including NEET and non-NEET streams, will be made available soon following the release of the Class 12 results.

CENTAC, which facilitates admissions to government and management quota seats in medical, engineering, arts and science colleges in the Union Territory of Puducherry, is expediting preparatory work for the online admission process this year. Along with application distribution, counselling will also be held online.

In preparation for the admissions, CENTAC is collecting data from colleges to compile its information brochure. Meanwhile, officials have issued an important announcement regarding the eligibility certificates required for the application process.

According to CENTAC, regional reservation certificates for students from Karaikal, Mahe, Yanam, and those applying under Arts, Science, Commerce and Rural quotas must be dated post-January 1, 2025.

Certificates such as Nativity, EWS and Agriculture quota eligibility must be issued by the Revenue Department after 1, April, 2025. Minority candidates from Christian and Telugu communities are required to submit both a minority certificate and proof of continuous government school education from Class 1 to Class 12 to claim reservation.

CENTAC officials have advised candidates to obtain the necessary documents well in advance to avoid last-minute delays during the application process.
