New Delhi: The Centre has constituted two high-level committees to implement the 'Vikshit Bharat' scheme and introduce next-generation reforms, an official statement said.

Both panels will be chaired by NITI Aayog full-time member and former cabinet secretary Rajiv Gauba, it said, adding that the first meeting was held two days ago.

One committee will work on achieving the goals of the 'Vikshit Bharat' scheme, while the other will focus on non-financial sector regulatory reforms.

The panels will have secretaries from departments including Industry and Domestic Trade Promotion, Expenditure, MSME and Power, all under the Ministry of Commerce.

Industry leaders such as representatives from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and ASSOCHAM will also be part of the committees, the statement said.
