Chennai: The CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC) on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SRM Easwari Engineering College (SEEC) to strengthen academic and research cooperation.

The MoU was exchanged at the CSIR-SERC campus in the presence of its Director, Dr N. Anandavalli, and SEEC Principal, Dr P. Deiva Sundari. Senior faculty members and scientists from both institutions also attended the event.

Those present included Dr S. Lavanya Prabha, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, SEEC; Mr M. Surendar, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering, SEEC; Dr S. Parivallal, Chief Scientist and Advisor (Management), CSIR-SERC; Dr K. Sathish Kumar, Chief Scientist and Head, BKMD, CSIR-SERC; and Dr A. Abraham, Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-SERC and coordinator for the collaboration.

SEEC expressed interest in building a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership with CSIR-SERC, aimed at enhancing academic engagement, research initiatives, and knowledge-sharing in structural engineering and allied areas.
