New Delhi: The third cut off list for admissions in Delhi University was released tonight but may leave many aspirants disappointed as most of its colleges have closed admissions for popular courses like B Com (Hons).

Colleges like Sri Ram College of Commerce, Hans Raj, Kirorimal, Zakir Hussain, Gargi, Kamla Nehru, Aurbindo, Indraprastha,  Daulat Ram and B R Ambedkar have closed
admissions for B Com (H ) as most of them have filled up their seats in the first two cut offs.

However, in some relief to the aspirants, Ramjas, one of the most sought after colleges in the prestigious university, has once again registered a slight decrease of 0.5 per cent in its cut-off for the course. Cut-off in this college now range between 93.25 and 97.5.

Hindu college has also marginally relaxed its cut-off to 94.25-97.25, registering a 0.25 per cent dip in its minimum requirement.

The cut-off in Lady Sri Ram College is pegged at 94.5 per cent, 0.25 per cent less than previous. In Dayal Singh College, it is between 86  and 91 per cent while in Deshbandhu it is pegged at 85 per cent.

In other popular programme B A (Hons) in Economics also, admissions have been closed in Kirorimal, Miranda House, Ramjas, Sriram College of Commerce, Kamala Nehru, Janki Devi Memorial, Hans Raj, Daulat Ram and Indraprastha college.

Deshbandhu has lowered its cut-off for the course by one percent settling it at 81 per cent in the fresh list. While in prestigious LSR it is pegged at 94.5 per cent, registering a slight 0.25 per cent from the second one.

In Motilal Nehru college, it is between 80 and 83 per cent while Dayal Singh it is pegged at 84 per cent. In B Com (Pass), the cut off in Kirorimal pegged at 91.75 per cent while in Ramjas it ranges from 91.75 per cent to 96.5 per cent.

Admissions for the course have been closed in Daulat Ram, Deshbandhu, Gargi and Aurbindo.  Students aspiring to get admission in BA (Hons) English may also find it difficult to get into the DU as most of its major college including Hans Raj, Hindu, Kirorimal, LSR, Miranda House and Indraprastha have already filled up all their vacant seats for the course.

In Ramjas, the cut off is between 82.5 and 90 per cent. There is not much relief in science courses also. Admissions for popular Physics (Hons) have been closed in
Hans Raj, Kirorimal, Miranda House and Hindu.
Admissions as per the third cut off will start from July 6.
