A similar trend was observed in the Class 12 Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination, where girls registered a 99.52% pass rate, compared to 98.35% for boys.
The ICSE examination was held across 67 written subjects, including 20 Indian languages, 14 foreign languages, and 1 classical language. The ISC exam covered 47 subjects, comprising 12 Indian languages, 4 foreign languages, and 2 classical languages.
