New Delhi: More than 6.43 crore job vacancies have been mobilised on the National Career Service (NCS) portal till July 14, 2025, the government informed the Lok Sabha on Monday.

The portal, launched by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, acts as a one-stop digital platform offering a range of career-related services including job search, online/offline job fairs, skill development programmes, vocational guidance and career counselling for job seekers from both government and private sectors.

Responding to a query in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Labour and Employment Shobha Karandlaje said over 48 lakh employers have registered on the portal as of July 10, 2025. She added that the portal is continuously upgraded using the latest technology and now includes features like AI-based resume building, multilingual support, feedback mechanisms, and robust verification systems.

To enhance employment opportunities, the Ministry has signed over 25 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with major companies including TCS iON, Amazon, Swiggy, Rapido, APNA, FoundIt (formerly Monster), and others. These partnerships enable the integration of job listings, skill development courses, and career counselling services directly into the platform.

More than 1,182 career counsellors have been onboarded, and over 41 lakh career guidance sessions—both online and offline—have been conducted so far, the Minister said.

Details of employer registrations and other statistics are available on the NCS portal at www.ncs.gov.in.
