Washington: Apple has disclosed the compensation packages of its new CEO John Ternus and executive chairman Tim Cook in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Tim Cook, who was serving as Apple's CEO, recently stepped down from the position. Ternus was subsequently appointed as the new CEO, while Cook was given the role of executive chairman.
According to the filing, Ternus will receive total compensation of $58 million (about ₹551 crore) during the financial year. Cook's compensation package will total $47 million (about ₹446 crore).
Ternus' package includes an annual salary of $3 million and shares worth $55 million. Cook's compensation includes a salary of $2 million and shares valued at $45 million.
Cook had received an annual salary of $3 million while serving as CEO. His total earnings last year stood at $74.3 million.
