New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management Indore has introduced a Certificate Programme in Digital Transformation and AI for Leaders, aimed at equipping senior professionals with strategic technology capabilities amid accelerating digital adoption across industries.
Citing industry research, the institute said organisations are investing heavily in artificial intelligence, analytics and automation, but outcomes remain inconsistent. While advanced technologies are widely accessible, leadership capability gaps continue to hinder value creation, particularly in aligning digital initiatives with business models and operational strategy.
The programme is designed to help leaders integrate AI and digital technologies into core business strategy, innovation agendas and process redesign. It focuses on developing strategic thinking rather than isolated technical skills.
According to the institute, participants will gain the ability to articulate digital transformation principles, design AI-led initiatives aligned with business priorities, adapt business models using emerging technologies, enhance customer experience through data-driven personalisation, and manage risks associated with AI adoption.
The course will be delivered through recorded sessions supplemented by live weekly interactions with industry experts. Modules include AI tool workshops, measuring return on investment in digital transformation, use cases of generative and agentic AI across sectors such as IT, banking, manufacturing and healthcare, and the future of AI-enabled enterprises.
Participants will also receive executive alumni status of IIM Indore upon completion of the programme.
The institute said that as digital transformation becomes enterprise-wide, leadership with strategic technology fluency will be critical to sustaining growth and competitive advantage.
