Mumbai: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai has recorded 100% placements for its 2025 batch, with the highest salary package reaching ₹47.5 lakh per annum, Director Prof Manoj Tiwari announced on Wednesday.

The institute witnessed a 10% rise in job offers compared to the previous year, while the average salary package increased by 5%, he said. A total of 198 companies participated in the placement drive. The top 10% of students secured an average salary of ₹47.5 lakh per annum, while the top 20% and 50% received ₹41.2 lakh and ₹34.1 lakh, respectively.

Sectors such as pharmaceuticals and healthcare saw a 130% rise in hiring, while retail and e-commerce recorded a 47.73% increase. Consulting firms also ramped up recruitment by 28.92%.

Leading recruiters included Accenture, which made 41 offers with an average package of ₹45.37 lakh, followed by PwC India (18 offers) and PwC US Advisory (10 offers). Other major recruiters included Alvarez & Marsal, OfBusiness, Praxis Global Alliance, Vodafone Idea, Workday, and ZS.

Prof Tiwari credited the institute's transition to IIM Mumbai and its strong industry collaborations for the successful placement season. He also announced plans for new programs, including an urban logistics and infrastructure management course and a one-year public policy program.

IIM Mumbai, formerly NITIE, became India's 21st IIM in 2023 following parliamentary approval.
