Chennai: The Department of Management Studies (DoMS), IIT Madras, has extended the last date to apply for its Executive MBA (EMBA) programme to October 26, 2025. Applications can be submitted online at https://doms.iitm.ac.in/admission/.

Designed for mid-career working professionals, the two-year in-person degree programme aims to equip participants with an integrative and functional understanding of modern business management in both local and global contexts. The classes will be held on alternate weekends, allowing participants to balance professional commitments with academic learning.

The EMBA curriculum focuses on practical and experiential learning, featuring three field-based capstone projects that encourage students to apply classroom insights to real-world business challenges. The programme also includes an International Immersion Learning component, offering students a 10-day hands-on learning experience at the IESEG School of Management, Paris, with sessions on global leadership and cultural intelligence.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks and have a minimum of three years of work experience. Shortlisted candidates will attend a written aptitude test and personal interview at the IIT Madras campus on November 8 and 9, 2025.

According to DoMS, the EMBA programme's mission is to develop leaders capable of navigating complex business environments, integrating strategic thinking, innovation, and global perspectives to drive sustainable growth.
