Chennai: IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation and SWAYAM Plus have launched a 100-hour Multi-Cloud Foundation with Security Programme to equip students and professionals with skills across major cloud platforms and cybersecurity.

The programme will provide training in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with cloud security, through live online sessions and hands-on practical learning.

Participants will also undergo a two-day immersion programme at the IIT Madras campus.

The course follows a vendor-neutral approach and covers cloud computing, compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, databases, cloud cost management and multi-cloud architecture.

The cloud security component will include threat detection, identity hardening, encryption, compliance, security monitoring and incident response.

The programme is open to students, graduates, working professionals and aspiring technology professionals. Basic knowledge of infrastructure concepts such as CPU, memory, networking and TCP/IP is recommended.

The top five per cent performers in the programme will receive placement support, according to a release.

The first batch will begin on September 10, with the last date for applications being September 9.

IITM Pravartak is the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Madras, while SWAYAM Plus is a Ministry of Education initiative implemented through IIT Madras to expand access to industry-relevant and employability-oriented learning.'
