Chennai: The Indian Army will conduct Agniveer recruitment rallies at Sri Vijaya Puram and Campbell Bay in October 2025 under the banner “Delhi Se Dweep.” The Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Chennai is overseeing the arrangements to provide opportunities for the youth of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

The rally at Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram, will be held from October 8-10 for candidates from North & Middle Andaman and South Andaman districts. The Campbell Bay rally is scheduled for October 14-15 at the Mini Sports Stadium, exclusively for aspirants from the Nicobar district.

Candidates shortlisted in the recent online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for the 2025-26 recruiting year will undergo physical and medical tests during the rally. Successful candidates will be inducted into various categories, including Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Tradesman (8th & 10th pass), Agniveer Office Assistant/Store Keeper Technical, Sepoy (Pharmacy), Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant (Veterinary), and Agniveer General Duty (Women) in the Corps of Military Police.

The initiative aims to ease access for island youth by reducing travel and administrative barriers, particularly for those from remote areas of Nicobar.

Admit cards were issued in August 2025. Candidates must carry all required documents in the prescribed formats as listed on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Those without complete documents will not be allowed to participate.
