Students having written NEET this year can apply for admission to Indian medicine studies like Siddha, Ayurveda, Unnanni, and Homeopathy. 


Courses offered: 

Bachelor of Siddha Medicine & Surgery [ B.S.M.S ]

Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery [ B.A.M.S ]

Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery [B.U.M.S ]

Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine & Surgery [ B.H.M.S ]


Duration of course:  5 1/2 years inclusive of 1 year internship 


Eligibility:To be eligible, candidates must have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent Board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany and Zoology with minimum of fifty percent of marks.


Colleges & Seats: All seats in Govt colleges in Tamil Nadu


65% to 85% in self financed colleges 


50% to 85% in minority self financed colleges. Admissions are carried out through the counseling conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu. 15% of the seats are allotted for All India quota for which candidates have to apply separately.

Open Competition -31%

Backward Community -26.5%

Backward Community (Muslim)-3.5%

Most Backward Community/Denotified Community-20%

Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar) -18%

Scheduled Tribe-1% 


Fee details: The Tuition Fees for BSMS, BAMS and BHMS courses in Self Financing Medical Colleges

shall be collected as fixed by the Hon’ble Justice N.V. Balasubramanian Committee for

the fixation of Tuition Fee for Self - Financing Professional Educational Institutions for

the year 2021-2022. Accordingly the fee fixed for courses such as BSMS/BAMS/BHMS is Rs.1,25,000/ per year.


How to apply: The candidates are advised to download the prospectus and fill up the application form legibly, neatly and correctly. 


Filled in application form with all relevant documents prescribed may be delivered in person or by Registered post / Courier Service / Speed post before 5.30 P.M. on 18.01.2022 to:
