Puducherry: The Department of Orthopedics at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) on Saturday organised an Advanced Trauma Workshop on Upper Limb Fracture Fixation at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium.

The workshop aimed to enhance surgical skills and improve clinical outcomes in patients suffering from upper limb trauma. It featured practical demonstrations and expert-led sessions focusing on the latest advancements and techniques in fracture fixation.

Delegates and medical professionals from Puducherry, Chennai, and various parts of Tamil Nadu participated in the one-day event.

Officials said the workshop is part of JIPMER's continued efforts to promote specialised training and knowledge sharing among orthopedic surgeons and residents to ensure quality trauma care.
