Jammu: Activists of National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) tried to disrupt classes in Jammu University during a protest over the JNU row and sought slapping of sedition charges on the culprits.
Led by Thakur Virender Singh, state President NPSU, the activists assembled in large numbers in front of the administrative block of the University.
They raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, 'Azad Hindustan Zindabad’ and barged into classrooms urging the students to boycott classes.
Singh said "anti-India propaganda" unleashed by certain elements at Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi should be dealt with sternly.
He said that the highly provocative and inflammatory speeches given by anti-nationals could not be tolerated by any nationalist.
