Coimbatore: Tata Steel Managing Director T. Narendran on Tuesday urged leaders to continuously enhance their skills to cope with the fast-changing global landscape marked by technological and geopolitical disruptions.

He was addressing a seminar on “Leadership in Times of Geopolitical and Technological Disruptions,” organised jointly by the All India Management Association (AIMA), the Coimbatore Management Association (CMA), and the GRG School of Management at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women.

Narendran said the widening gap between the rich and the poor was a major concern across several countries. “The technological changes that took place between 1875 and 1950 were greater than those in the next 75 years. Leaders must be prepared to face economic, technological, and cultural challenges,” he said.

CMA President Nityanandan welcomed the gathering, and GRG School of Management Director Dr. Sathasivam and CMA Secretary Puneeth Krishnan were among those present.
