Tirunelveli: The semester examination for the subject Industrial Law at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University was postponed on Monday following reports of a question paper leak, university officials said.

The examination was scheduled to be conducted across 99 centres affiliated with the university, which oversees 106 colleges in Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari districts.

The incident occurred shortly before the exam was set to begin, prompting authorities to withdraw the question papers from candidates already present at the centres.

“We received information that the question paper had been leaked. As a precautionary measure, the exam has been temporarily postponed,” a university source said.

An official announcement regarding the rescheduled date is awaited. Meanwhile, an internal probe is expected into the alleged leak.
