Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Education Minister D.M. Varaprasad today called upon teachers in government schools to strive for quality education to the students to match the education in private schools.

Speaking to reporters, the minister said that private schools are attracting students with catchy adversisements in the media.

The Minister revealed that as there is craze for English medium of teaching, Andhra Pradesh governemnt introduced English medium in selective schools known as 'Success Schools'.

He calimed that 10th class results in public examination are better in governments schools than the private schools.
