Chennai: The Union Ministry of Education has announced the launch of five free online courses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance digital and data science skills among students, teachers, and professionals.

With AI transforming various sectors, the Ministry aims to integrate AI learning into the education system from an early stage. In the first phase, AI-related subjects will be introduced from Class 3 onwards to help students develop analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The initiative also extends to educators, researchers, and experts from diverse domains such as sports, science, finance, and education. These courses—covering topics like machine learning, cricket analytics, physics, chemistry, and accounting—will be offered through the government's digital learning platform, SWAYAM.

Each course provides practical insights into the application of AI in real-world contexts, enabling participants to build foundational knowledge and hands-on experience.

. On successful completion, participants will receive certificates issued by the Ministry of Education.
